Namboole

Happy New Year... i am most of the times disappointed with sound in Uganda, But this time round, it was superb everything to do with sound was perfect. I liked the crispness of the sound and the music likewise was real nice and i missed Sis Carol having a Live Performance as was the case during her 25th Concert which i enjoyed every part of the performance. Let me make it clear here only the Live performances and forget about the Mimes(sorry for being Rude here my friends). I have friends who are actually trying to sing but only Mime for us the audience and this most of the times really pisses me off.

Have a small suggestion and i know Live music is expensive but who wants a cheap substitute? imagine Isiah Katumwa having a show that costs a single person 250,000/= i am sure the one who pays that much never comes back disappointed. So Sis Carol could you have it as your signature to always perform live? i would love that. Also Last year 2011-2012 i was there and if i am not mistaken the performance from Bethel Christian Center was lovely then. But this time i didn't like the recorded bit of it. I would love it Real Live That's a personal view and a suggestion at least because most of these Churches are more privileged than some of our Churches. And when ever i go to such functions, i love to enjoy that rich blend and flavor of all the instruments played by real people in real life as it brings out the real nature of Worship to me.

People of God from a large part of Uganda join to usher their prayers to God as we enter into this New Year 2013
By the way, i was really touched as i saw thousands of God's people worshiping in Namboole, and it reminds me of Revelations 7:9  "After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,

and to the Lamb.”

11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:
“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”
"

We have started practicing this scripture right here on earth my heart is warmed by this. I really love seeing God's people worship in one accord and in large Numbers.

I wait to see more and more people and Pastors and religious leader doing the same. and i believe as the years go bye and there is no bigger Stadium that this, then there arise need for Screens on the outer walls of the Stadium. And as much as i know there is nothing impossible to God. The truth is, the stadium is now too small for this.

Finally let me thank the organizers, supporters and in my situation the Sound crew for a job well done. I have never heard such clear sound at least not in Uganda not even during the Jubilee celebration at Kololo.

God Bless you
